1.First Phase of Lok Sabha elections will begin on 7th April.The first phase of the nine phase lok sabha elections will begin from 7th April,elections will be conducted in five constituencies of Assam and Tripura(west) constituency in Tripura. Final phase will conclude on 12th May and counting of votes is scheduled on May 16.

FIFA imposed transfer ban on Spanish Club FC Barcelona,the ban prohibits Barcelona from buying or selling players for next two transfer windows on June 2014 and January 2015.Ban will last for 1 year.
Apart from this Barcelona and Rael Madrid was imposed a penalty for violation of Article 19 of the FIFA rules regarding protection of minor football players.

Anja Niedringhas,the Pulitzer prize winning journalist was shot dead by a policeman in Afghanistan while covering the Presidential election 2014 . She won the Prestigious Pulitzer prize in 2005 for covering the Iraq war.
