1.Supreme court suggests Sunil Gavaskar as BCCI Chief.Supreme court proposed replacement of N Srinivasan and suspension of Chennai Super Kings and Rajasthan Royals from IPL 7.The proposal released by a bench headed by Justice AK Patnaik proposed name of Sunil Gavaskar to head the highest Authority of Cricket in India.
2. Jude Felix Appointed as Coach.
Former Captain and Olympian Jude Felix was appointed as coach of National Men's Hockey Team.He will be on a probation for three months.
3. WHO Certifies India as polio free.
The formal certificates of being polio free was received by Ghulam Nabi Azad (Minister of Health,Government of India).A Country has to be free from reporting polio cases for three consecutive years for claiming polio free,as per International guidelines.
